ALMOST A MORMON book release in June 2018: Update!

Hey Everyone,

My testimonial memoir, titled Almost a Mormon: The Story of Why I Gave Up Joseph Smith and Gained Jesus Christ will be published in June 2018 through WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson/Zondervan! Only a little over 1 month away! I’ve been very excited about this project, as I have spent the past 5 and a half years on this book.

My story aims to reach current Latter-day Saints, ex-Mormons, and almost-Mormons (i.e. those who believe in Mormonism but have not yet joined the LDS Church). My story/testimony is no better or grandeur than anyone else’s, though it does serve to be a voice to the voiceless, to help those who have experienced a similar situation, though who really haven’t been able to put into words what they’re dealing with.

Almost a Mormon will be available in the following formats:

  • E-Book: $4.99
  • Softcover: $30.95
  • Hardcover: $43.95

While many active Mormons tend to think that Christians and ex-Mormons do ministry for the money, this really isn’t the case. That’s an LDS-hierarchical-promoted stereotype (as well as an accusation against Christians in their temple ceremony until 1990). I’ve invested a lot in this project, and the motive behind it is to help Latter-day Saints who are struggling with troubling facts about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and to lead them to the true, Biblical Jesus as presented in the Bible (Ephesians 2:8-9), contrary to the false gospel that Mormonism presents (2 Nephi 25:23; Moroni 10:32).

If you, a friend, family member, acquaintance, or neighbor is struggling with Mormonism, this book serves to be a helpful tool in how to understand where they’re coming from and how to be helpful in witnessing to them.

And most of all, Almost a Mormon encourages all readers (not just Mormons, ex-Mormons, and almost-Mormons) to trust the Bible, which is the only true Word of God.

I will post another update once the book has been released. Email me at if you have any questions!
