“Imagine that!” I’ve heard many say to me.
“You’re kidding…” I’ve heard others say.
Well, yes, it’s true actually.
My book, Almost A Mormon: The Story of Why I Gave Up Joseph Smith and Gained Jesus Christ (WestBow Press, 2018), has been accepted into the “Americana Collection” division in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections department in the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah.
This is a huge blessing and I am very grateful for this. Below is a link where you can access it and find it in the library:
Please pray that as BYU students, staff, or faculty members (or even others from the local community) stop by the library to do their research, that they’ll run into my book (as the Lord leads them).
My hope and prayer is that Latter-day Saints will open up their eyes and allow the Lord to cause the scales of deception to fall off. This happened to me as God guided me out of believing in Mormonism back in 2003.
My book aims to do the following:
“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…” (1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
My book lays out the reasons for the hope that I have. And I do this with gentleness and respect.
Such hope can only be found in the God of the Bible: the God who has always been God. The God who knows no other gods before Him, neither after Him (see Isaiah 43:10).
In His Grace,
