Delay Is Not Defeat: The Prayers of Intercessors Before the Throne Room of God

In this season, in the month of November, in the year of our Lord, 2020, God is doing something powerful. The intercessors and prayer warriors in this nation of the United States have seen something happen over the past two decades. First of all, we live in prophetic times. When Jesus came to this earth, that initiated the final dispensation of grace, the last days. Since 1948 (the restoration of Israel), we are now in the last of the last days. This is why wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, murders, the legalization of abominations such as same-sex marriage (which is not marriage at all) and killing children in the womb) have been occurring and have been allowed with such momentum. This means we are nearing the return of the Lord.

The United States of America is different than other nations. The reason why is because this is a nation that supports Israel. We were founded as a Christian nation, and we have many parallels with Israel. We have always sent out missionaries around the world to spread the gospel, and we are the first to show up to help other nations when national disasters hit.

For in 2001, Islamic terrorists struck down two towers in New York City, two towers that had to do with “world trade”. God eventually answered this years later, and out of the ashes and dust of Manhattan, rose a trumpet of the Lord, a Trump, out of that same land, out of that same city, out of a tower – Trump Tower.

This man became the leader of our nation, a nation which laid in ruins because of 9/11, yet we now have a man who came from a tall tower, from the same city where the attack occurred. God will not be mocked. There are no coincidences.

This man is still under attack. Every name is significant. President Trump’s name is significant; he is a trump; a trumpet.

Right now, behind the scenes, President Trump is staying quieter than he usually does. He has humbled himself over this year, and this fall. He is planning. He is preparing. While the world looks at the United States right now and is congratulating President-elect Biden, they can shout and write news articles all they want, but they do not know what is truly happening.

Behind the scenes, God is on the move. Intercessors are sensing a darkness that has loomed over this nation in the past 6 days. This darkness will eventually unravel, but intercessory prayer people of the Christian faith are fasting and praying during this time, praying in tongues, speaking in tongues, and are publicly silent, yet crying out to the Lord during this time. I know, because I’m one of them.

In 1 Corinthians 14:4, Paul says, “Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church.”

In Jude 1:20, Jude says, “But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.”

When we pray in the Holy Spirit (something I never learned about when I was a Lutheran), we are tapping into a deeper intimacy with God in our prayer life, and diving deeper into the mysteries of God.

The Bible says that our prayers come up to the throne room of God like the smoke of incense. Revelation 8:4 says, “The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.” The smoke of incense wraps prayer up, and sends it before the Lord God. Angels take up our prayer requests directly to our Heavenly Father, who is seated in His holy temple in heaven.

Continue to pray. We are just seeing the beginning.

Delay is not denial.

Delay is not defeat.

Delay simply means: prepare, get ready, hold on. For God is doing a mighty work behind the scenes.
